"Our" Jumbo Jet
It is the first of a "series" of visit to ALITALIA's aircrafts already scheduled for the 2001 season. Next April, we are going to visit ALITALIA's MD-11.
Meeting for this visit is set at 19.00 and boarding is expected for 20.00. "Our" Jumbo jet is just arrived back from Japan and it is parked on stand B4
After security and custom checks, 50 "Clipperers" reach the plane by using a ramp bus. A great opportunity to have a look on the ramp in beautifull artificial light !

The old style cockpit without multifunctional screens but full of "clocks", with the third crew member, now not a common sight.
Magnifica Class
Even after 20 years of service with Alitalia, the interiors look very good. The internal configuration is for 404 pax: 36 in Magnifica Class and 368 in Economy class.
